Summary

AI/ML-Driven In-Vehicle Health Monitoring UX at Caltech
: Bridging Automotive and Medical Domains Through Embedded Robotics and Multi-Material Medical Intelligence

Role: Product Design Lead | Period: Ongoing, 2025 - Present, Independent project

I am leading an independent project at Caltech to develop a next-generation AI/ML and LLM-powered in-vehicle health UX system that bridges automotive and medical domains. This ongoing research explores context-aware interaction using biosignals and 15+ types of medical materials, aiming to deliver seamless and adaptive user experiences. I lead end-to-end UX planning, cross-domain interface design, and collaborate closely with Caltech postdocs on prototyping and validation. We are currently preparing over eight patent applications focused on novel algorithms and sensor integration methods.
